NATIONAL LINGUISTIC OLYMPIADS
Recently, Y9 Academic Scholars were invited to take part in the National Linguistic Olympiad. Designed to test their deductive and logic skills with languages like Hindi, Fur, and Saisiyat, their dedication and ambition was impressive!
With over 1000 competitors, Eva achieved a national top 20 place, earning her a Bronze certificate and Elmo achieved a national top 10 place, earning him a Silver certificate and narrowly missing out on Gold.
Their individual performances in a one-hour time limit were especially impressive given the competition's extended time frame and team format.
