COMMUNITY

Our Island is a community and we do a lot of work to ensure we sit firmly within that wider community. Our motto of ‘Ut Prosim’ (to be of service) is embodied within our School life and we find ways to actively demonstrate this for the Island.

Community groups use our facilities throughout the year, and voluntary hours (measured by activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award) run at about 1720 hours a year plus countless other initiatives across the school and wider community.
