VISITING US

The best way to experience Ryde School is to visit; individual tours can be organised to suit you.  Come and meet the Head Master, staff and pupils and see the school in action. We look forward to welcoming you.

Driving to School

From Yarmouth and Fishbourne: A3054 to Ryde. *When you reach the outskirts of Ryde you will be travelling along Binstead Road. At the traffic lights turn left into Queen's Road. Ryde School is situated on the left hand side just before the crossroads with West Street.

From East Cowes take the A3021 and then the A3054 to Ryde. Continue from * above.

Car Parking:

There is a small area for visitor and assessibility parking at the front of the School. There are also council car parks on Lind Street, Garfield Road and Victoria Street, as well as time restricted road parking on West Street.


Travelling from the Mainland

Ryde is only 10 minutes from Southsea by Hovercraft, 25 minutes from Portsmouth by Fastcat, or 45 minutes with you car from Portsmouth to Fishbourne with clear onward signage to Ryde, about 10 minutes away.
