VISITING US

The best way to experience Ryde is to visit. We hold on-site Open Mornings in the Autumn and Spring Terms and a Sixth Form Information Evening in October. Personal tours are always available throughout each term. 
  • Whole School Open Morning:
    Saturday 5th October, 10 A.M. to 12.30 P.M.
  • Sixth Form Information Evening:
    Monday 13th October, 6 P.M.
  • Whole School Open Morning:
    1st February, 10 A.M. to 12.30 P.M.

Driving to School

From Yarmouth and Fishbourne: A3054 to Ryde. *When you reach the outskirts of Ryde you will be travelling along Binstead Road. At the traffic lights turn left into Queen's Road. Ryde School is situated on the left hand side just before the crossroads with West Street.

From East Cowes take the A3021 and then the A3054 to Ryde. Continue from * above.

Car Parking:

There is a small area for visitor and assessibility parking at the front of the School. There are also council car parks on Lind Street, Garfield Road and Victoria Street, as well as time restricted road parking on West Street.


Travelling from the Mainland

Ryde is only 10 minutes from Southsea by Hovercraft, 25 minutes from Portsmouth by Fastcat, or 45 minutes with you car from Portsmouth to Fishbourne with clear onward signage to Ryde, about 10 minutes away.
