CCF Biennial Inspection - Visit from Vice Admiral Martin Connell

Vice Admiral Martin Connell, Second Sea Lord, inspected the Ryde School Combined Cadet Force.

The day started with a guard of honour, parade and inspection outside Westmont. All cadets were then dispatched to various stations to show the Reviewing Officer what Ryde School CCF offers: field gun, shooting at our range, archery, flight and bridge simulators, to name but a few!

Overall it was a very successful day, enjoyed by all cadets who attended. We would like to express a very special thank you to Vice Admiral Martin Connell for coming to inspect the contingent and for his words of wisdom. The hard work of the contingent - staff and cadets - truly paid off and it was a very special Biennial Inspection!
