Music Scholars Entertain Monkton Arts

The evening combined a mixture of solos and ensembles from all pupils, ranging from the jazz-inspired ‘Blue Bossa’ to the ‘Queen of Sheba’.

Our talented music scholars entertained a packed Monkton Arts with a varied programme of music just before the half-term break. The evening combined a mixture of solos and ensembles from all pupils, ranging from the jazz-inspired ‘Blue Bossa’ to the ‘Queen of Sheba’. Director of Music Rachel Tweddle commented “the performances were polished and delivered confidently and musically and to a very high standard. With special thanks to Richard Wilkins for his excellent piano accompaniment”.

Huge congratulations to Harry, Sasha, Alfie, Rafferty, Annabelle, Jemima, Henry, Daisy, Ellie, Caleb and Voranc, it was an evening to remember!
