Physics Trip to Cern

During the Christmas holidays a group of Physics students travelled to Cern, home of the laboratory with the Large Hadron Collider at the heart of its accelerator complex.

They enjoyed a fascinating tour of parts of the laboratory, and visited a number of other landmarks including an amazing fountain. In a break from Physics they enjoyed a visit to Cern old village and tried some delicious Swiss hot chocolate and fondue!
