Art Trip to Amsterdam

During the Christmas holidays Year 11 and Sixth Form art students visited Amsterdam, to see a range of different art galleries.

At the Van Gogh Museum they saw many pieces of famous artwork including Sunflowers and The Potato Eaters, at the Stedelijk Museum they saw a range of modern art displayed in a form they had never seen before, and they also visited the Rijksmuseum and the Hermitage Museum. 

One of the highlights of the trip was a canal boat trip that allowed everyone to see the sights of the city as well as some inspiring architecture. Everyone agreed the trip was great fun and the teachers were amazing!
