Amadeus

‘Amadeus’, a play that has been in the making since September, was performed earlier this week, and what a performance it was. Stunning decorations, a fitting ambiance and a high energy maintained by the cast throughout the production invoked the scene of 18th Century Italy perfectly, making way for a truly enchanting evening.

It was difficult not to be captivated upon entering the theatre - cast members in gold masks glided around the room, accompanied by the airy music of Mozart and whispers from the shadows, casting an ambiance of mystery that would set the scene for the rest of the performance. Throughout the play, the cast delivered a passionate, energetic performance, accompanied by the narrative of Salieri. The hard work put into the production by both cast and crew was certainly evident through such a seamlessly performed piece.

A funny piece of historical fiction, accompanied by fabulous costumes and a fluent delivery all contributed to an outstanding performance. Congratulations to everyone involved on doing such a good job!
