Parliament Week

Parliament Week last week offered both pupils and parents a fascinating insight into various aspects of Government.

The Lower Sixth were visited by the Lord Speaker Lord Fowler who spoke about the function and purpose of the House of Lords, as well as his time as a Cabinet Minister, and then gave the students the opportunity to pose a wide range of questions.

Bob Seely MP visited the School to give a lecture to both pupils and parents on his experience of Parliament and his life in politics, particularly interesting at this time of Brexit negotiations.
