Boarding Fun

Fun over in the Boarding House

As the Summer Term comes to an end and we say goodbye to some of our boarders, we can reflect on the many fun times they had in the sunny months just gone and we look forward to welcoming new students in September. 

The summer never disappoints on the Isle of Wight and the unexpected heatwave this early summer has meant boarders can explore what the Island has to offer in the glorious sunshine. They also took advantage of living close to the seaside and could dip in the sea after a long day at school in almost 30 degree heat. 

Outside of school, their free time has put it to good use, and being right by the sea means there are many opportunities on the water too. Some of the fun includes horse riding on the beach, cricket and rounders on the fields, sunny beach days, paddle boarding, windsurfing, hiking and tree-top climbing.
