ILCA 4 National Sailing News

Following on from our recent British Schools Dinghy Racing Association successes, we have even more great news from the ILCA 4 Nationals in Weymouth last week.

Over ninety competitors entered the event of eight races over several days and we are very proud of all four sailors from Ryde School for these outstanding results:

Fred (Year 11) 3rd
Noah (Year 11) 4th
Sam (Year 10) 11th

A special mention also goes to Ben in Year 7 who was the youngest competitor in the event, winning an Achievement Award for his 1st place in one of the races, congratulations Ben!

Fred and Noah are soon heading out to the World Championship in Portugal representing team Great Britain! We wish them good sailing and we will be following their progress online.
